Whilst the ZMG programme is primarily focused towards consumers, it's vital we also talk to the UK's travel trade in order to unlock their marketing budgets - and encourage them to spend their budgets on Zambia rather than competitive destinations.

This engagement essentially comes via three activities - regular emailers; inclusion in Safari magazine; and the Zambia dedicated sessions within the Safari Roadshow.

As a result from first year's efforts, Zambia seems to be truly back "on the agenda" for many tour operators who seem enthused by the destination once more.

At least once a month, we continue to send out informative emailers to our already established and extensive trade database which consists of 400+ UK Africa specialists and tour operators.

Below are a list of trade emailers for Year 2 sent to date:

The Luangwa needs YOU (June 2018) >>>

Collating applications for SR 2019 - DATES TBC

To generate more of a buzz for the Travel Trade surrounding Zambia's presence on ITV in June, we created a miniature version of our 3D Victoria Falls artwork as a fun desk accessory, (or inevitably just a bit of fun). We sent it out in conjunction with a competition to win some champagne for the office to encourage people to take their own pictures of the artwork and post them on social media.
