Recently undergone a complete renovation, Lion Camp is one of Zambia's oldest serving independent camps situated in a remote part of South Luangwa National Park, with abundant and uncongested game viewing on the doorstep.
The new stylish camp consists of a main lodge linked to 10 suites by elevated wooden walkways, offering the unique experience of an unfenced lodge. Stretching along the side of a tranquil oxbow stream, game and birds are plentiful all season and in the absence of fences, game moves freely through the lodge grounds. Elephant, hippo, bushbuck and other antelope are regularly seen within the confines of the camp and there are healthy populations of lion, leopard, buffalo and giraffe in the immediate area. Lion Camp is also distinguished by its friendly staff, personalised service, experienced guides and excellent food.
